Welcome to the release of the very sought after Air Jordan 4 Toro Bravo available in store and online, this saturday. We take a closer look of this shoes composition and what makes this one of the hottest releases of 2013.
Synthetic Suede Upper
Dressed in red, the “Toro Bravo” 4s feature a synthetic suede on the upper. This material is much smoother and finer than that of the 5s of the same theme, appearing more as a red rendition of the popular Black/Red 4s.
The familiar ‘Flight’ script and Jumpman logo tag the tongue of the Air Jordan 4. This branding dates all the way back to 1989 and is seen in grey fashion on this “Toro Bravo” release.
Black plastic wings appear on the sides of the Air Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo.” From a technical standpoint, the wings add support to the upper and aid lockdown so that the shoe can be tied tightly.
Plastic Heel Tabs
n extended black heel tab stands out on the back of the shoe. Aesthetically, this piece features prominent Jumpman branding. Functionally, this attribute aids putting on and taking off the shoe.
Visible Air Cushioning
After debuting on the Air Jordan 3, the Air Jordan 4 became the second straight signature to feature Visible Air cushioning in the heel. The midsole styling has become iconic, seen similarly on the Flight 89 from the same year.
The rubber outsole on the Air Jordan 4 was designed with basketball in mind back in ‘89. In retro life, a soft grey finish adds cool contrast to the fire red suede seen on the upper.
Clear, rectangle hang tags come on each shoe on the upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo” release. Jumpman Air tagging is present in bold fashion.
